New Music Monday. For The Doc, there’s nothing better that an under 3-minute power pop tune with a great hook. That’s what we have today. The Doc does not know much about Ryan Allen, but apparently, this is his main band. I had to look him up to see if he was a former member of the band The Fags, as this sounds very similar. Note that I think if it wasn’t for their band name choice, The Fags could have been huge. I still think their album Light ’Em Up is a perfect power pop album. Anyway, check out this tune from the band Extra Arms. I believe it’s the first song on their most recent release “What Is Even Happening Right Now?
