New Music Monday. Today we have some good old alternative, perhaps even a little psychedelic pop from a metropolitan borough in the North West of England. The Dream Machine began their musical journey in 2021 and have their debut album coming out in April of this year. According to a very short article I found, they took their name from “Dream Machine,” and invention that recreates hallucinations similar to psychedelics without taking substances. I presume this tune if their first single from the upcoming album. It has an early 90’s feel to it, kind of in the vein of The Jesus and Mary Chain, but also something else that I just can’t put my finger on.
