New Music Monday. I first discovered The Speedways back in 2018 when they released their first album titled “Just Another Regular Summer.” Little did I know then they would release a handful of albums over the next 5 years (and multiple singles). These four lads from Nottingham UK have been blazing a trail of power pop excellence. Of course, their sound has matured since they began, but they continue with their pop sensibility and catchy melodies. Some might even say there are throwback to the that late 70’s power pop sound. This track is one of my favorites of their new album titled “Talk of the Town.” It’s got a good beat and you can dance to it.
