New Music Monday. If you like guitar driven, female led alternative pop in the vein of The Go-Go’s, then you just might like todays pick. This seems to be a recent solo effort by Isabelle Banos, the synth-bassist from the band Caveboy. And by recent, I do believe this is the first and only single she has released to date. Most of the information I could gather was from her website that states: “Drawing inspiration from the golden era of pop-punk, the raw teen angst of grunge, and the nostalgic glow of a summer day in the suburbs, Ballsy's music is an explosive fusion of infectious hooks, unfiltered emotion, and a captivating blend of indie rock and pop.” You also have to dig the 80’s themed video as well.
