New Music Monday. One of my guilty pleasures is the band Vixen, the all-female 80’s hair metal band. This tune sounds a lot like that band. Cassidy Paris is a 20-year-old Australian who release her first single when she was 14. Since then, she’s released two EP’s and a handful of singles. According to her website, she was raised on classic hard rock and inspired by female rockers such as Lizzy Hale, Joan Jett, and Pat Benatar. Cassidy is on a mission not only inspire a new generation of younger fans to listen to Rock, but to also pick up a guitar instead of a phone. This is the first single from her upcoming debut album on Frontier Music titled 'New Sensation' to be released in December.
