New Music Monday. If you really dig music, you know that Minneapolis is famous for several artists and bands, some of which are more well known than others. This city has given us Prince, The Replacements, Husker Du, and Soul Asylum just to name a handful of bands. One band that gets overlooked is the all-female 80’s band called The Clams. They ended up in 1989, thus just missing the alternative surge of the early and mid-90’s. Cindy Lawson started her career with The Clams. I have no idea what she has been doing the last 30 years, but I do know she has recently released a new album on Rum Bar Records. This is the first track from the new album.
