New Music Monday. This band from Springfield, Illinois has been called America’s least known power pop sensation. Local Drags were certainly kind of unknown, as their sophomore album debuted this time last year. So, what makes this new, other new to the Doc? Well, they finally are getting some airplay a full year later. You see, they are number one on Radio Indie Alliance’s Top 75 Songs for the Week of April 11, 2022, with their tune, Breakable. If you dig two-minute power pop, garage-esque indie pop that contains influences from The Replacements, and the Gin Blossoms, then you just may dig this tune.
